As any new parent will tell you, the first few weeks after your baby’s birth are magical and full of amazement. Amazement about what you’ve done, created and this little human your get to hold on your arms now.

But it can also be a challenging time for new parents and families. You want to give all the love and care but this whole new parent gig doesn’t come with instructions.

I am here to support you and assist you whilst you navigate your journey as a new parent by giving you the attention and care that will help you find your way in the first few weeks after your baby’s birth.

I am here to help make the transition into your new role as carer and nurturer as smooth as possible by supporting and encouraging you.

The nature of my support will vary greatly depending on what you feel you need and if this is your first baby.

My postnatal doula services include

• ·        Postnatal yoga stretches and breathwork

• ·        Reiki energy healing

• ·        Breastfeeding support

• ·        Light housework / washing up / laundry

• ·        The chance of a hot shower/ cup of tea/nap whilst I hold baby

• ·        Assistance with other children in the household

• ·        To accompany you on outings, giving you confidence to take your baby out, chatting through ideas for activities and coming along to any medical appointments as wished

• ·        A listening ear for your birth stories

• ·        Signposts to all the most up to date local resources for new parents 

• ·        Phone and online support

I’ll aim to give both parents / carers the skills and knowledge to help them feel more confident in caring for their newborn.I will offer suggestions and information but allow you to make your own decisions and plans.
